Preparation for Hazardous Waste Pickup

Schedule your HHW pick up
Do not mix chemicals
Make sure to properly label all liquids if not in original container (unlabeled liquids will not be collected)
No individual container over 5 gallons
Flammable liquids must be in container approved for transporting flammable liquids (containers will not be returned)
Make sure all items have spill-proof lids
Make sure chemicals do not spill, leak, or mix
If the original container is cardboard or paper, place the item in a labeled plastic bag
If you have several small items, place them in a labeled plastic bag
Leave the items in front of your garage on collection day
Item(s) will be collected between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm on your collection day
You do not need to be home for pickup
